Three kinds of diet pills

Although it’s not a super pill, the amazing effects of the top diet pills may leave you wondering, “What’s in that stuff?” How can a simple pill taken on a regular basis help you shed unwanted pounds? That simple question requires a very complex answer, but thankfully, I’ve tried to make the answer a little simpler, first by a brief survey of the kinds of diet pills available. There are three main types of diet pills. Although, of course hybrids, combinations, and new varieties abound, most of today’s diet pills fall into one of these three categories.

Placebo Pills

Unfortunately, not every diet pill manufacturer is straightforward regarding their product. The diet pills in these categories may be expensive and claim to contain revolutionizing new drugs guaranteed to break down fat. In reality, they may contain nothing more than an inert sugar pill.  Although the ‘placebo effect’ is a real medical phenomenon that involves the curing or improvement of symptoms, some companies manufacturing placebo pills are guilty of false advertising and unfounded claims. Thankfully, this category has the fewest number of products.

Herbal Pills

Most of the diet pills on the market contain some form of herbal treatment, either natural or synthetic. Acai, hoodia, green tea, caffeine, and bitter orange are familiar terms in the herbal diet pill market. This is by far the most popular, safe, and effective form of diet pills.
